Suddenly I'm a Rams fan!
Whoa. This guy is the real deal. Who knew there were virtuous professional athletes out there?!? Well, of course there are the select few that the media likes to hype and pick on (ahem...Tim Tebow...ahem). But this guy? Another level. He calls himself "Catholic by blood" and says that is his identity - not football. Make sure you read to the end. Needless to say, the last section is my personal favorite! :)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Kellen Clemens was cut by the Rams last week. However, if you are looking for a solid Catholic Quarterback to follow, look no further than Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers. He too is a great role model of the Catholic faith, without being like Tebow. Plus, he's just a lot of fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI was also going to let you know about a big fan of NFP is a great guy in the NFL, Philip Rivers. Great article about him and his wife in the CCL NFP magazine. Don't you just love the sport! :)
