St. Gianna Shrine

Guess what I'm doing tomorrow??  I'm heading north to visit the St. Gianna Shrine in PA!  It's only about an hour and a half drive for me, but I've been meaning to go for months.  So with my surgery on Tuesday, I'm finally making it work!  I was thrilled when I found out it was so close to me.  Anyone in the Philadelphia area want to join me???  Their Saturday pilgrimage hours are between 3:30-5pm.

  4. Oh I wish I could go! It is near where I grew up. I think several bloggers have been before, so when you go ask for Angela- the woman in charge....she is super sweet!

  8. Would have loved to join you - with more notice. ;-) We are sick at home right now. Marking my calendar for a bloggy date on April 28th. I really have no excuses because it is pretty close to me as well. How was it?

  9. I know! I'm so sorry I didn't give more notice. It just dawned on me yesterday to even blog about it!

IT WAS AMAZING!! The statue itself is pretty small, but just being there and touching her glove was awesome. And I was able to get some prayer cards that touched her glove and are considered 2nd class relics!

Definitely mark your calendars! I'm going to post about it. April 28 - all are invited!
