Here they are making fun of Rick Santorum. Which is nothing new. I mean, why wouldn't they? He's one of those crazy religious fanatics! This time they've elevated the discourse by comparing his campaign to an abortion! And since he has absolutely NO idea what it would be like to lose a child or make the heart-wrenching decision to have to choose to give his wife life-saving treatments that could end up in the death of their unborn child, these folks are right on the money in their critique! What does a man know about this issue anyway? Oh, and their stealth little jabs at pregnancy centers and common sense restrictions on abortions - well, they're just so clever!
Take a watch, then just try to not want to be as classy as these profound learned pundits.*

So when these people think they are being "clever" all they are really doing is making us blessed! Even when they attack us, all they do is secure our reward in heaven. No wonder there is so much hate--they are fighting a battle that, either way, they lose and we win.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Hebrews, but honestly I'm not even that angry about it. I think they're more pathetic and lame than anything. I guess I just felt the need to be snarky and sarcastic! Not that that's getting me any grace either! :)
ReplyDeleteI let out a snort at the comment about listening to the campaign manager's heart. It just escaped. A funny picture was in my mind. No, abortion is not funny. But at least these hollywood women acknowledge that a fetus has a beating heart. And they probably don't want to look at an ultrasound because it bugs their mind. Looking at an ultrasound probably makes them uncomfortable because they see their child.
